LTM Q2 results in numbers

These are consolidated figures for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 (Q2 FY27). Year-on-year comparisons are with Q2 FY26; quarter-on-quarter comparisons are with Q1 FY27.

  • Revenue from operations: ₹11,807.6 crore, up 13.6% from ₹10,394.3 crore a year earlier and up 1.7% from ₹11,608.0 crore in the June quarter.
  • Dollar revenue: $1,235.2 million, up 1.0% quarter-on-quarter and 4.7% year-on-year. In constant currency, which takes out exchange-rate moves, growth was 1.1% sequentially and 5.1% from a year ago.
  • EBIT: ₹1,838.1 crore, up 11.5% year-on-year and 2.2% sequentially. EBIT margin was 15.6%, 10 basis points above the June quarter and 30 basis points below a year earlier.
  • Net profit after tax: ₹1,379.9 crore, down 0.1% from ₹1,381.2 crore a year earlier and down 6.0% from ₹1,468.6 crore in the June quarter.
  • Profit attributable to shareholders: ₹1,397.9 crore, against ₹1,401.1 crore a year earlier and ₹1,466.3 crore in the June quarter.
  • Order inflow: $1.26 billion for the quarter.

Where the profit went

Operating profit grew 11.5%, only a bit slower than revenue. So the flat bottom line is mostly a story from below the EBIT line. Other income dropped to ₹91.5 crore from ₹300.4 crore in Q2 FY26, a fall of about 70%, and from ₹255.4 crore in the June quarter. That pulled profit before tax down about 1.0% year-on-year to ₹1,859.7 crore even as EBIT rose. Total tax expense for the quarter was ₹479.8 crore.

In dollars, net profit was $144 million, down 6.7% from the June quarter and 7.9% from a year earlier, the company’s release shows.

Clients, headcount and the AI piece

LTM said revenue from its Enterprise AI and Business AI offerings together grew 47% year-on-year. CEO and managing director Venu Lambu credited the company’s AI-focused strategy and said a financial services client had moved into its $100 million-plus revenue bracket.

Active clients numbered 729, with 20 new ones added in the quarter. Clients billing more than $10 million went up by 16 from a year earlier to 109, and the $100 million-plus group rose by one to three. Headcount was 88,835, trailing 12-month attrition was 13.3%, and utilisation excluding trainees was 86.4%, down 170 basis points from a year earlier.

Dividend date and the stock

The ₹25 interim dividend on shares of ₹1 face value will be paid within 30 days of declaration to shareholders on record as of Friday, October 23, 2026, the filing says.

LTM shares closed at ₹4,390 on the NSE on Friday, up ₹155 or 3.66% from ₹4,235, according to the NSE bhavcopy for October 16. That was before the results. The Economic Times reported, citing NSE data, that the stock was still down 28.17% so far in 2026.

Reading between the lines

Rupee revenue growth looks solid, but dollar revenue grew a slower 4.7%. In other words, a good chunk of the 13.6% rupee number is currency translation, not extra business. Margins held near 15.6%; lower other income is what kept profit flat. When trading resumes on Monday, we expect the market to weigh the 1.1% constant-currency sequential growth and the $1.26 billion order inflow against the profit miss. Our earlier LTIMindtree Q2 results date post had the reporting schedule, and our guide on how to analyse quarterly results of a company explains how to read these numbers.
