We’ve written up the Canara Bank Q2 results date and the BHEL board meeting separately.
The Numbers Groww Must Be Compared With
For the sequential comparison, the base is Q1 FY27, the three months to June 30, 2026. The company’s Q1 FY27 earnings pack, which is built on its filed results, gives these consolidated figures:
| Metric (consolidated) | Q1 FY27 | Change vs Q1 FY26 | Change vs Q4 FY26 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue from operations | ₹1,501.42 crore | +66.0% | -0.3% |
| Total income | ₹1,548.67 crore | +63.3% | +0.9% |
| EBITDA | ₹970.68 crore | +100.9% | +3.4% |
| Profit after tax | ₹735.04 crore | +94.3% | +7.1% |
| PAT margin (PAT as a share of total income) | 47.5% | +7.6 percentage points | +2.8 percentage points |
For year-on-year, the base is Q2 FY26. Groww’s Q1 FY27 shareholders’ letter puts Q2 FY26 total income at ₹1,071 crore, EBITDA at ₹604 crore and profit after tax at ₹471 crore. When the Q1 numbers came out on July 15, the stock gained 5.3% to ₹215 on the BSE, the Economic Times reported.
What to Watch in the Q2 Print
Income mix. Equity derivatives were 52.0% of total income in Q1 FY27, down from 54.8% in Q4 FY26. The margin trading facility (MTF) rose to 8.0% from 6.9%, and commodity derivatives to 4.9% from 4.5%, according to the earnings pack. Management expects the move away from equity derivatives to carry on, and the Q2 split will show whether it did.
MTF book. The funded MTF book was ₹3,774.78 crore at the end of June, up 264.4% year on year. On the Q1 call, management said average book additions typically run at about ₹600-700 crore a quarter, and cautioned that market levels at quarter-end can skew period-end comparisons.
Costs. Q4 FY26 included some one-time risk costs, management said, and it expects the current cost run-rate to hold with modest inflationary increases, per the earnings pack.
Customers. Total transacting users stood at 2.24 crore and total customer assets at ₹3.60 lakh crore at the end of Q1 FY27.
What It Means for Investors
Groww has only been listed since November 12, 2025, so every quarter adds to a short public track record. Management has tied trading activity on the platform to volatility and market conditions, so we’d expect the market to look past headline profit and focus on the revenue mix and the cost trend. If you want to read the filing yourself, our guides on how to analyse quarterly results and consolidated vs standalone results explain which numbers matter, since Groww reports both.
