The Axis Bank Q2 results date is Saturday, October 17, 2026. The private lender has informed the NSE and BSE that its board will meet that day to consider and approve unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, as set out in its board meeting intimation dated September 17, 2026. The bank’s joint statutory auditors will carry out a limited review of the numbers.

Axis Bank Q2 results date, earnings call and trading window
The call schedule came later, in an exchange filing dated October 12, 2026. Between them, the two filings confirm the following:
- Board meeting: Saturday, October 17, 2026, covering the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026 (Q2 and H1 FY27), on a standalone and consolidated basis.
- Earnings call: 6:20 p.m. IST on October 17, 2026, when senior management takes analysts and investors through the numbers. Dial-in numbers and a pre-registration link are in the filing.
- Trading window: shut for designated persons and their immediate relatives from Thursday, October 1 to Monday, October 19, 2026, both days included.
- Listings: NSE symbol AXISBANK, BSE scrip code 532215. The notices were also sent to the London and Singapore stock exchanges.
As usual, the board notice says “inter alia” and doesn’t flag a dividend or fund-raise as a separate item. With the meeting on a Saturday, the stock will only get to react in the next trading session.
Four private lenders, one Saturday
Axis Bank has company that day. The ET Markets earnings tracker (updated October 11, 2026) counts 129 companies due to report Q2 FY27 numbers this week, and it puts HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and Yes Bank all on October 17, along with India Cements. We’ve written up the HDFC Bank Q2 results date and the ICICI Bank Q2 results date in separate posts. With four big banks reporting on the same day, Bank Nifty will have a lot to digest when trading opens again.
The Q1 FY27 starting point
For the September quarter, the base is what the bank’s own Q1 FY27 results page shows for April-June 2026:
- Profit after tax: Rs 7,114 crore, 23% higher than the Rs 5,806 crore of a year earlier.
- Net interest income: Rs 14,646 crore, up 8% from Rs 13,560 crore, at a net interest margin of 3.46%.
- Core operating profit: Rs 11,122 crore, 10% higher year-on-year.
- Balance sheet: total deposits grew 18% and net advances 19% year-on-year as of June 30, 2026.
- Asset quality: gross NPA of 1.28% and net NPA of 0.39%, compared with 1.57% and 0.45% a year before.
- Capital: total capital adequacy of 16.67%, with CET-1 at 14.64%.
Keep in mind these are June-quarter figures. They aren’t a Q2 preview, and the filings we looked at for this piece contain no separate provisional Q2 deposit or loan numbers from Axis Bank.
What investors should look for
Three comparisons will matter most for the September quarter. First, how the net interest margin moves from the 3.46% reported in Q1. Second, whether deposits keep growing as fast as loans. Third, whether slippages and credit costs stay under control. The standalone figures tell you about the core bank; the consolidated ones show what the subsidiaries added. Management’s remarks on the 6:20 p.m. call should fill in more on margins and growth.
