The Angel One Q2 results date is Thursday, October 15, 2026. The broker has told the exchanges that its board meets that day to approve unaudited standalone and consolidated results, with limited review, for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026. Management will then take questions on an earnings call the following morning, Friday, October 16, at 11:00 am IST, as per the company’s board meeting intimation dated September 21.
Angel One Q2 results date and dividend record date
A follow-up filing on October 6 added one more item to the agenda. The same board meeting will consider a second interim dividend for FY2026-27. If the board declares one, the record date for deciding eligible shareholders is Thursday, October 22, 2026, according to the dividend intimation. There’s no amount yet. That’s the board’s call on the day.
Insiders have been locked out of trading since October 1, and the window stays shut until 48 hours after results are out. The company says it will put the call transcript on its website once the call is done.
It’s a busy day to be reporting. The ET Markets earnings tracker has Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Persistent Systems, Nestle India and Jio Financial Services lined up for October 15, plus HDFC Life, HDFC AMC, Polycab India, IRFC, IIFL Finance, L&T Finance and Tata Communications.
Key figures from the Q2 FY27 business update
We already have Angel One’s operating numbers for the quarter, and its October 6 business update paints a mixed picture. Every comparison below is Q2 FY27 (July-September 2026) against Q1 FY27 (quarter-on-quarter) and Q2 FY26 (year-on-year):
- Client base: 39.98 million, up 3.6% from 38.59 million in Q1 and up 17.3% from 34.08 million a year earlier.
- Gross client additions: 1.49 million in the quarter, up 11.6% quarter-on-quarter but down 14.1% year-on-year.
- Average client funding book: ₹74.53 billion (about ₹7,453 crore), up 21.4% quarter-on-quarter and 40.5% year-on-year. The company called this a record high.
- Average daily orders: 5.64 million, down 16.7% from 6.77 million in Q1 and roughly flat (up 0.1%) year-on-year.
- F&O average daily turnover (option premium basis): ₹123 billion, down 22.1% quarter-on-quarter and up 2.6% year-on-year.
- Retail F&O turnover market share: 22.1%, 13 basis points lower than Q1 and 43 basis points higher than a year ago.
- Commodity average daily turnover: ₹2,438 billion, up 105.5% year-on-year, while Angel One’s commodity market share fell to 44.0% from 65.1% a year earlier.
There were 65 trading days in the quarter, compared with 60 in Q1 and 64 in Q2 FY26. September on its own showed signs of a pickup: average daily orders climbed 11.7% month-on-month to 5.82 million, and the average funding book touched ₹78.71 billion.
What the numbers mean for Q2 results
Order volumes drive a broker’s fee income, so that 16.7% sequential fall in average daily orders is the number most likely to weigh on revenue. Angel One itself put the slowdown down to subdued market activity. The offset is the bigger client funding book, the money Angel One lends clients to buy shares. That earns interest, and it could soften part of the hit.
When results come out on October 15, we’d expect investors to focus on three things. How far did broking revenue drop from Q1? Did interest income from the funding book fill the gap? And how did costs behave with client additions running below last year? The dividend amount, and whatever management says on the call about F&O activity, will round out the picture.
