Wipro Q2 results date and key details
- Date: Thursday, 15 October 2026, after market hours
- Earnings call: 7:00 PM IST (9:30 AM US Eastern)
- Trading window: shut for designated persons from 16 September until close of business on 17 October, Mint reported
- Wipro’s own Q2 guidance: IT services revenue of $2.574–2.627 billion, which works out to -1.5% to +0.5% constant-currency (CC) growth quarter on quarter
What the brokerages are pencilling in
Not much excitement. These are the previews Mint put together:
- Systematix: CC revenue down 0.6% QoQ, on weak demand, pricing pressure and a smaller share of wallet in large accounts. EBIT margin up 20 bps. Q3 guidance of -2% to 0%. Large-deal TCV around $0.8 billion.
- JM Financial: CC revenue down 0.5% QoQ (-0.6% in USD), with roughly 80 bps coming inorganically from Mindsprint and Alphanet. Q3 guidance of -1.5% to +0.5%.
Where Q1 left things
Here’s what Wipro reported for the June quarter:
- Consolidated net profit: ₹3,352 crore, down 4.2% QoQ
- IT services revenue: ₹24,453 crore, up 1.8% QoQ in rupee terms but down 1.2% in CC
- IT services EBIT margin: 16%, down 130 bps QoQ
- Total bookings: $3.37 billion; large deals of $1.63 billion across 13 deals
With the stock down 38% this year, the bar is low. The guidance for Q3 may matter more than the Q2 numbers themselves.
Five things we’ll be looking at
- CC revenue growth and where it lands in the -1.5% to +0.5% guidance band
- Q3 guidance: does it beat the -2% to 0% some analysts are bracing for?
- EBIT margin recovery, now that wage hikes are in the base
- Deal wins and TCV, the best hint of revenue to come
- What management says on AI and on client spending in key markets
Share price context
The stock has had a bad year. Mint noted Wipro shares were down 38% this year, the worst among large-cap tech names. They hit a six-year low on 29 September, and market capitalisation dropped below ₹1.6 lakh crore. IT stocks were weak again on Monday too; see IT stocks fall today.
What it means for investors
When a big IT name reports, the whole Nifty IT index can swing with it. If you’d rather read the numbers yourself, our guide on how to analyse quarterly results covers what to check first, and Q2 results this week lists who else is reporting.
