The IPOs this week line-up is busy even by this year’s standards. Five mainboard issues open between October 26 and October 30, and together they want about ₹2,581 crore, according to an ET Markets round-up. The bigger event, though, is a listing: Jio Platforms and Paras Healthcare are both due to debut on October 28.

One split matters more than the headline total. Only about ₹808 crore of that ₹2,581 crore is fresh money going into the companies. The other ₹1,773 crore or so is offer for sale, which means existing shareholders cashing out.

The five IPOs this week, one by one

  • EAAA India Alternatives (Oct 26 to 28): the largest of the week at ₹1,200 crore, priced at ₹1,585 to ₹1,665. The whole issue is an OFS by promoter Edelweiss Securities and Investments, so EAAA itself gets nothing. A retail lot is nine shares, or ₹14,985 at the top of the band. ET puts its assets under management at about ₹95,345 crore as of June 2026. We covered the business in more detail in our EAAA India Alternatives IPO explainer.
  • SFC Environmental Technologies (Oct 27 to 29): a ₹667.53 crore issue at ₹313 to ₹330, made up of ₹150 crore fresh and ₹517.53 crore OFS. It works on wastewater treatment and solid waste management. Part of the fresh money goes to repaying borrowings and working capital. Minimum bid is 45 shares, or ₹14,850.
  • BLS Polymers (Oct 27 to 29): ₹255 crore, all fresh, at ₹142 to ₹150, with a 100-share lot costing ₹15,000. It makes polymer compounds used in power cables, telecom networks, railways and pipelines. Per Moneycontrol, the band values it at ₹930.5 crore and listing is scheduled for November 3. ₹77.56 crore is earmarked for expanding its Goa plant and ₹89.5 crore for working capital.
  • M K Sons Fine Jewels (Oct 28 to 30): a ₹275.4 crore issue at ₹153 to ₹162, of which ₹220.32 crore is fresh and ₹55.08 crore is an OFS by promoter Ramchand Murlidhar Raimalani. Moneycontrol reports FY26 profit of ₹51.8 crore, up from ₹23.3 crore, on revenue that rose 53.4% to ₹538.7 crore.
  • Bombay Coated and Special Steels (Oct 29 to Nov 2): ₹183.06 crore, all fresh, at ₹78 to ₹82. It slits and cuts steel coils into products for appliance, auto and engineering customers. ₹125 crore goes to repaying debt and ₹15.7 crore to buying leased equipment. BusinessLine (PTI) reports FY26 revenue of ₹1,266.8 crore and net profit of ₹30.5 crore.

Jio Platforms and Paras Healthcare list on October 28

Jio’s ₹30,213 crore issue closed on October 23 subscribed 22.19 times overall. QIBs bid for 70.55 times their quota, while retail came in at 2.72 times. ET cites an unofficial grey market premium of around ₹247 over the ₹1,119 upper band as of October 25. Paras Healthcare’s ₹1,450 crore issue was subscribed 2.23 times, with a GMP of ₹10 to ₹12 over its ₹693 issue price. Grey market numbers are informal and move fast, so we would not read much into them. Our earlier note on the Jio Platforms IPO issue price has the background.

What to watch

Look at where the money goes. EAAA is a pure exit for its promoter. BLS Polymers and Bombay Coated are raising capital for the business itself, much of it to cut debt. Neither is good or bad on its own, but it changes what you are buying into. Our guide to the objects of the issue explains how to read that section of a prospectus.

The SME board is active too. ET lists Wiscon Industries (₹110 crore) opening October 27, Carver Roboweld (₹28.29 crore) and Ajwa Projects (₹38.05 crore) on October 28, and Antala Industries (₹23.33 crore) on October 29.
