Four mainboard IPOs open on October 15 and close together on Monday, October 19, after a three-day window. Between them they want to raise about ₹8,870 crore, Financial Express reported. It’s a mixed bunch: technology-led manufacturing (Zetwerk), industrial power transmission (Bonfiglioli Transmissions), defence electronics (Tonbo Imaging) and cardiac medtech (Sahajanand Medical Technologies). Anchor bidding for all four was set for October 14, and the tentative listing date is Friday, October 23 on the BSE and NSE.
Four mainboard IPOs October 15: sizes, bands and lots
We cross-checked the issue sizes and price bands across Financial Express, Livemint and Business Standard:
- Zetwerk Manufacturing Business: about ₹5,012 crore, made up of a ₹2,830 crore fresh issue and an OFS of 14.45 crore shares worth about ₹2,182 crore. The price band is ₹143–₹151. Retail investors need at least one lot of 99 shares, or ₹14,949 at the upper band, Financial Express said.
- Bonfiglioli Transmissions: about ₹2,534 crore, all of it an OFS of up to 4.32 crore shares by promoter Bonfiglioli S.p.A. The band is ₹558–₹586, eligible employees get a ₹29 discount, and the minimum lot is 25 shares.
- Tonbo Imaging: about ₹852 crore, all an OFS of 1.22 crore shares. The band is ₹665–₹700, with a minimum lot of 21 shares (₹14,700 at the upper band).
- Sahajanand Medical Technologies: about ₹475 crore (Financial Express and Business Standard put it at ₹475.48 crore), all an OFS of up to 1.38 crore shares. The band is ₹327–₹344, with a minimum lot of 43 shares (₹14,792 at the upper band).
Going by Financial Express’s subscription timeline, allotment should happen around October 21, with shares credited and refunds processed around October 22.
Fresh issue or OFS: where the money goes
Zetwerk is the only one of the four raising fresh money. Livemint reported that it plans to use the proceeds to repay debt at the company and subsidiary level, fund acquisitions and cover general corporate purposes. Bonfiglioli, Tonbo Imaging and Sahajanand are pure offers for sale. The selling shareholders get the cash, not the companies. So the first question for each one is simple: growth capital, or an exit?
Grey-market premiums are unofficial and shift from one session to the next. Livemint’s mid-October tracker had indicative premiums of about ₹14 for Zetwerk (roughly 9.3% over the ₹151 upper band), ₹153 for Bonfiglioli (about 26.1% over ₹586), ₹345 for Tonbo Imaging (about 49.3% over ₹700) and ₹40 for Sahajanand (about 11.6% over ₹344). They aren’t listing forecasts and can swing before the open.
Four issues in one week: what applicants should weigh
Four mainboard issues on one day pull attention to the primary market while secondary-market flows are still touchy about rates, crude and FII activity. We track that backdrop on the Stock Market Today India hub. For retail applicants, ASBA through a bank or broker is still the simplest route, and our ASBA IPO application process guide walks through it. With issue sizes ranging from under ₹500 crore to over ₹5,000 crore, don’t expect liquidity or institutional interest to look the same across the four on listing day.
Treat this roundup as a map of dates and deal structure, not a buy or sell call. Read the offer documents, think about whether you’re funding growth or an exit, and take grey-market chatter as sentiment and nothing more. Our single-stock notes on Zetwerk’s October 15 open and Bonfiglioli’s valuation go deeper on the two bigger names.
