The Canara Robeco AMC dividend record date October 16 falls today. Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited (NSE: CRAMC, BSE: 544580) fixed Friday, October 16, 2026 as the record date for an interim dividend of ₹2.00 per equity share for FY 2026-27, according to its October 9 board-outcome filing to NSE and BSE. One point people mix up: this money goes to shareholders of the listed AMC. It is not a dividend from any of its mutual-fund schemes to unitholders. How the Canara Robeco AMC dividend record date of October 16 was set

The board met on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 5:25 PM to 6:00 PM IST. It declared an interim dividend of ₹2.00 on each equity share of ₹10 face value, or 20% of face value, for the financial year 2026-27. The same filing fixes October 16, 2026 as the record date and says the dividend will be paid within 30 days of declaration to shareholders whose names are on the Register of Members or depository records that day. Because of T+1 settlement, the last day to buy and still qualify was Thursday, October 15, 2026; our guide on dividend record date vs ex-date explains why.

After the board meeting, CNBC-TV18 and Capital Market both reported the same ₹2 interim and October 16 record date. Livemint’s dividend history for the stock shows an announcement date of October 9, 2026, with the ex-date and record date both on October 16, 2026.

The payout at a glance

  • Dividend: ₹2.00 a share (20% of the ₹10 face value), interim for FY 2026-27.
  • Record date: October 16, 2026, with payment within 30 days of the October 9 declaration.
  • Earlier payouts (Livemint): a final of ₹2.50 (record July 16, 2026) and an interim of ₹1.50 (record December 22, 2025).
  • Share price: CRAMC closed at ₹223.45 on the NSE on October 15, down from ₹224.91 the session before, per the NSE bhavcopy. At that price, the ₹2 dividend is about 0.90% of the share price (our calculation).

The Q2 FY27 numbers that came with it

The dividend was announced alongside unaudited results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. Revenue from operations for Q2 FY27 was ₹1,216 million, up 17% year on year, and profit after tax was ₹592 million, up 22%, per the company’s earnings release. For the half year, revenue from operations came to ₹2,378 million (+18% YoY) and PAT to ₹1,348 million (+23% YoY). The statutory auditors gave an unmodified limited-review opinion, according to the board-outcome pack. Our pillar on how to analyse quarterly results explains how to read prints like this.

Total AUM was ₹1,167 billion as of September 30, 2026, down 1% year on year, while QAAUM was ₹1,244 billion (+4% YoY) and equity-oriented QAAUM was ₹1,132 billion (+5% YoY). The folio count stood at 5.01 million.

Who gets the ₹2, and when

If you bought CRAMC on or before October 15 and held it into today’s record date, the ₹2 interim is yours, even if you sell from the ex-date session onward. Shares bought on or after October 16 don’t qualify. The money should reach the bank account linked to your demat holding within 30 days of October 9, so by early November 2026. Make sure your KYC and bank details are up to date before then.

For longer-term holders, this is a modest cash return sitting on top of another quarter of double-digit YoY profit growth. The thing we’d watch is AUM: whether total AUM and QAAUM trends make up for the slight YoY dip, and whether future interim or final dividends keep tracking earnings.
