Bajaj Housing Finance Q2 results date and earnings call time

The call was flagged in a Regulation 30 disclosure dated October 12. JM Financial Institutional Securities hosts the Q2FY27 call at 17:30 hrs IST on October 16, with Managing Director Atul Jain, Chief Financial Officer Gaurav Kalani and the senior management team on the line. One gap: neither filing gives a release time for the numbers. All we know is that the board meets that day.

The trading window for designated persons and their immediate relatives has been shut since Thursday, October 1, as per the October 5 letter. It opens again after Sunday, October 18, 2026, and both days count as part of the closure.

What the provisional Q2 numbers already tell us

Much of the business picture is already out. On October 3 the company put out provisional figures in a pre-result intimation, still subject to review by the statutory auditors:

  • Gross disbursements: about ₹19,930 crore in Q2 FY27, up from ₹15,914 crore in Q2 FY26, a jump of roughly 25% year-on-year. CNBC-TV18 works it out at 25.2%.
  • Assets under management (AUM): about ₹1,58,190 crore as of September 30, 2026, up 25% year-on-year from ₹1,26,749 crore. The quarter alone added about ₹8,566 crore.
  • Loan assets: about ₹1,39,850 crore, against ₹1,13,059 crore a year ago, so growth of roughly 24% year-on-year.

Loan growth for the quarter is already public, so on October 16 the market will focus on the spread the company earns on that book.

The base these results will be measured against

Start with the June quarter. The Q1 FY27 investor presentation shows profit after tax of ₹715 crore, up 23% from ₹583 crore a year earlier. Net interest income was the soft spot, rising only 9% to ₹968 crore, while net total income grew 16% to ₹1,175 crore. Gross NPA stood at 0.29%, net NPA at 0.12%, and operating expenses ate up 19.6% of net total income.

The year-ago quarter is a tough comparison. Back in Q2 FY26, net interest income climbed 34% to ₹956 crore and profit after tax rose 18% to ₹643 crore, with gross and net NPA at 0.26% and 0.12%.

That Q1 presentation also carried management’s FY27 outlook:

  • AUM growth of 21-23%
  • Net interest margin moderating by 20-25 basis points
  • Gross NPA of 30-35 basis points and credit cost of 10-15 basis points
  • Opex to net total income of 19-20%
  • Return on assets of 2.1-2.3% and return on equity of 12-13%

So the 25% AUM growth in the provisional Q2 update is already running ahead of the full-year range. If some of these line items are unfamiliar, our guide on how to analyse quarterly results of a company walks through them.

Friday is crowded for financials

Bajaj Housing Finance won’t have the day to itself. The Economic Times lists LTIMindtree, Federal Bank, Crompton Greaves and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank among the other companies reporting on October 16. We have a separate note on the Federal Bank Q2 results date if you track that lender too.

What investors should watch

Disbursements and AUM are known, so the market will judge this set of results on margins, operating costs, credit cost and asset quality. We’d look at two things first. Does net interest income grow faster than the 9% we saw in Q1, against that high Q2 FY26 base? And does gross NPA hold inside the 30-35 basis point range management has guided to? Any tweak to the FY27 outlook on the 5:30 pm call could move the stock in the next session.
