Stocks to watch October 15: Wipro, TechM (Tech Mahindra), Persistent Systems and Nestlé India all put out their September-quarter (Q2 FY27) numbers on Thursday, October 15, 2026, going by ET Markets’ weekly earnings tracker. They won’t be alone. The same list has Jio Financial Services, Polycab India, HDFC Life, IRFC, Angel One, HDFC AMC, Tata Communications and L&T Finance reporting that day as well. If you want the live session in view while the numbers come in, keep our Stock Market Today India hub open in another tab.

The IT names arrive right after a big rerating. On October 13 the Nifty IT index climbed more than 5%, the best of any sector that session, with HCL Technologies up 8% and TCS up 6.6% on results that beat expectations, Hindu BusinessLine reported. So the bar for Thursday is higher now.

Stocks to watch October 15: Wipro and TechM timing

Wipro reports after Indian market hours on October 15, and senior management takes questions on a call at 7:00 PM IST, says Wipro’s press release. The company’s own Q2 guidance is IT services revenue of $2.574–2.627 billion. That is constant-currency (CC) growth of -1.5% to +0.5% over the previous quarter, Mint reported. Brokers aren’t hopeful. Systematix sees CC revenue down 0.6% quarter on quarter (Mint), while Kotak Institutional Equities is pencilling in a 1% sequential fall, or 1.8% on an organic basis. Both expect Wipro to guide for -2% to 0% growth in Q3 (Mint; Mint’s Kotak preview). How the date was fixed is covered in our Wipro Q2 results date note.

Tech Mahindra runs its earnings call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM IST on October 15, as per its October 2 exchange filing. There’s more on the board’s table than results. It will also look at an interim dividend for FY27 and a bonus share issue, though the filing named neither the dividend amount nor the bonus ratio, CNBC-TV18 noted. Kotak’s forecast is revenue growth of 1.6% quarter on quarter and 6.6% year on year, steady EBIT margins in spite of an 80 bps wage-revision hit, and net new deal wins of about $0.9 billion (Mint, Kotak preview). Our Tech Mahindra Q2 results date post has the rest.

Persistent Systems and Nestlé India: the street’s numbers

Persistent Systems holds its investor call at 5:00 PM IST on October 15, with Executive Director and CEO Sandeep Kalra leading it, according to its NSE intimation dated October 8. For reference, Q1 FY27 revenue was $452.4 million, or ₹4,303.2 crore, up 29.1% year on year in rupee terms. Motilal Oswal, in an August 3 note, built in 4.5% sequential growth in US dollar revenue for Q2. The broker expects about 75–80% of the peak revenue from a strategic deal worth more than $650 million to show up in this quarter. Management has guided for an FY27 operating margin of 16–17% (DSIJ summary of the MOFSL report).

Nestlé India is the big non-IT name of the day. Brokerage estimates put together by Business Standard have revenue at ₹6,765–6,809 crore (20–21% year-on-year growth) and profit at ₹1,022–1,034 crore, which would be roughly 37–38% higher. Volume growth is seen at around 10%. The stock was at ₹1,318.70, down 0.30%, around 2:30 PM on October 13.

How we’d read Thursday’s lineup

  • Timing: Persistent goes first at 5 PM, then TechM at 6 PM and Wipro at 7 PM IST. Wipro’s numbers land after market hours, so the stock only gets to react on Friday, October 16.
  • IT read-through: The October 13 rally has already priced in some good news, so Wipro’s Q3 guidance and TechM’s margin path will matter more than the headline figures.
  • TechM extras: The board outcome should carry the dividend amount, the bonus ratio and the record dates. Watch for all three.
  • Nestlé: The two things to check are whether volume growth is close to 10% and whether margins held.

Every estimate here is a brokerage number, and reported results can be quite different. Look at the company filings on the evening of October 15 before you act on any of it.
