The ICICI Bank Q2 results date is Saturday, October 17, 2026. The private lender has told the exchanges its board will meet that day to consider and approve unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter and six months ending September 30, 2026. That comes from the bank’s board meeting intimation dated September 22, 2026, which was also filed with the US SEC as a Form 6-K. The same notice shut the trading window for designated persons, directors and their immediate relatives from October 1 to October 19, 2026, both days included.

ICICI Bank Q2 results date, media call and earnings call

A later exchange filing on October 12, 2026 filled in the rest of that Saturday’s timetable:

  • Board meeting: Saturday, October 17, 2026, to take up unaudited Q2 and H1 FY27 results (July-September and April-September 2026), both standalone and consolidated.
  • Media conference call: 4:00 p.m. IST, October 17, 2026.
  • Earnings call with analysts and investors: 5:00 p.m. IST, October 17, 2026.
  • Trading window: shut from October 1-19, 2026 (both days included) for designated persons and their immediate relatives.

Audio recordings and transcripts of both calls will go up on the bank’s website, icici.bank.in. The September 22 notice sticks to the routine “inter alia” language for approving results. It doesn’t mention a dividend or a fund-raise as a separate agenda item.

Private bank mega day on October 17

Bank investors have a busy Saturday on October 17. According to the ET Markets earnings tracker (updated October 11, 2026), 129 companies are due to report Q2 FY27 numbers this week, and HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and Yes Bank are all slotted for October 17, with India Cements on the same day. That matches what we flagged earlier: HDFC Bank’s board also meets on October 17 alongside the other large private lenders.

Unlike several peers that filed provisional deposit and advances updates in early October, ICICI Bank hasn’t put out a separate Q2 business update. So the September-quarter operating numbers will only show up with the results.

The Q1 FY27 base, and what we’ll be watching

The most recent reported numbers sit in the bank’s performance review for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, approved on July 18, 2026. Standalone profit after tax came in at ₹14,805 crore, 15.9% higher than the ₹12,768 crore of Q1 FY26. Net interest income rose 12.7% year-on-year to ₹24,384 crore. The net interest margin was 4.36% in Q1 FY27, compared with 4.34% in Q1 FY26 and 4.32% in Q4 FY26. Period-end deposits stood at ₹18,33,586 crore, up 14.0% on the year, while total advances grew 19.6% to ₹16,31,260 crore. Net NPA was 0.35%, and the standalone CET-1 ratio was 16.19% as of June 30, 2026.

Once the October 17 numbers are out, the questions are fairly obvious. Did loan growth keep running ahead of deposit growth? Where did the margin go after the 4.36% June-quarter figure? How do credit costs compare with the ₹1,260 crore of provisions (excluding tax) in Q1? And what does management say about CASA and wholesale funding? If you want a method for working through the release, our guide on how to analyse quarterly results of a company lays it out step by step. We’ll track the day-to-day market reaction around the big bank results on our Stock Market Today India hub.
