Mark Thursday, October 15, 2026: that’s the Tech Mahindra Q2 results date. The IT company will consider and declare its audited standalone and consolidated numbers for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026 that day. The same board meeting will also take up an interim dividend and a bonus share issue, CNBC-TV18 reported.

Tech Mahindra Q2 results date and earnings call timing

Management will host an earnings call from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM IST on October 15, with a Q&A session for analysts and investors after the presentation. That’s from an exchange filing dated October 2, 2026. The fact sheet, press release and other documents go up on the company’s website, and a replay of the call stays available until October 22, 2026, as per the company’s filing.

It’s a crowded day. Wipro and Persistent Systems report on October 15 too, and Nestle India and Jio Financial Services are also on the list, going by The Economic Times’ earnings tracker. We’ve covered the rest of the IT line-up in our Wipro Q2 results date post.

A dividend and bonus shares on the table

Two proposals sit on the board’s agenda: an interim dividend for FY 2026-27 and an issue of bonus shares. Neither the dividend amount nor the bonus ratio was in the filing, CNBC-TV18 pointed out, and both stay proposals until the board signs off. Insiders can’t trade for now. The trading window is shut until Saturday, October 17, 2026, and opens again on Sunday, October 18.

If a payout does get cleared, the record date decides who’s eligible. Our explainer on dividend record date vs ex date walks through how that plays out under T+1 settlement.

Where the June quarter (Q1 FY27) left things

The June quarter is the base everyone will compare against. Here’s what Tech Mahindra’s Q1 FY27 press release, dated July 16, 2026, showed on a consolidated basis:

  • Revenue came in at ₹15,712 crore, 4.2% higher than the previous quarter and 17.7% higher than a year earlier.
  • In dollars, revenue was $1,660 million, up 2.2% quarter-on-quarter and 6.1% year-on-year as reported (2.6% and 6.6% in constant currency).
  • EBIT, or operating profit, rose 53.3% year-on-year to ₹2,264 crore. The EBIT margin of 14.4% was about 60 basis points better than the previous quarter and about 330 basis points better than a year ago.
  • Profit after tax grew 28.4% year-on-year to ₹1,465 crore, and diluted EPS was ₹16.50.
  • Fresh deal wins added up to a total contract value of $1,078 million, 33.3% more than a year earlier.

Analyst estimates and the stock’s mood going in

Kotak Institutional Equities is bracing for another muted quarter from the big IT names. Among mid-sized and hybrid players, though, it sees Tech Mahindra holding up well, with revenue growth of 1.6% quarter-on-quarter and 6.6% year-on-year, Mint reported. Keep in mind these are the brokerage’s numbers, not company guidance.

The stock isn’t walking in with much momentum. It closed 2.85% lower on Monday, October 12, one of the top Nifty 50 losers that day, Upstox data showed. Capital Market tied the drop to a slide in global telecom stocks, after SpaceX’s expansion plans stirred fears of more competition for traditional wireless operators.

What it means for investors

So October 15 bundles three things into one evening: the September quarter numbers, a possible interim dividend and a possible bonus issue. We’d watch three markers. Does constant-currency growth land near Kotak’s estimate? Does the EBIT margin keep climbing from 14.4%? And do deal wins stay above $1 billion? If the bonus and dividend get approved, the ratio and record dates matter for anyone planning to hold through the corporate action.
