JSW Steel Limited has fixed its JSW Steel Q2 results date for Friday, 23 October 2026. That day the board will take up unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2026. The company also plans a conference call the same evening at 5:30 PM IST to walk through the numbers and outlook, with the presentation to be hosted on the group site.

The board date was intimated to the exchanges in late September. Ahead of the print, investors already have the production update: consolidated crude steel output in Q2 FY27 rose to 7.27 million tonnes.

JSW Steel Q2 results date, board meet and trading window

According to exchange intimations summarised by PSU Connect and mirrored on BSE announcement trackers such as Trendlyne, the board meeting on 23 October 2026 will take up unaudited standalone and consolidated results for Q2 and H1 FY27. Investor Feed adds that the analyst conference call is set for 5:30 PM IST and that the presentation will be available on www.jsw.in.

PSU Connect also reports that the trading window for designated persons and their immediate relatives remains closed from 1 October 2026 to 25 October 2026 (both days inclusive), under the company’s insider-trading code aligned with SEBI’s PIT regulations. That window typically reopens after results are out and the cool-off period ends.

Q2 FY27 crude steel output already on the tape

On 8 October 2026, JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 7.27 million tonnes (72.7 lakh tonnes) for Q2 FY27, up 10% quarter-on-quarter and 5% year-on-year, according to CNBC-TV18 and Free Press Journal, both citing the company’s exchange update.

Indian operations contributed 7.07 million tonnes (up 11% QoQ and 5% YoY), while JSW Steel USA – Ohio produced 0.20 million tonnes in the quarter. Capacity utilisation at Indian operations was 88% in Q2 FY27 and about 90% in September 2026 as Blast Furnace 3 at Vijayanagar ramped up after a shutdown for capacity upgradation.

For H1 FY27, consolidated crude steel production stood at 13.86 million tonnes, up 4% YoY from 13.32 million tonnes a year earlier. Indian operations produced 13.41 million tonnes in H1. Prior-year figures were adjusted to exclude the steel business of Bhushan Power and Steel Limited after its transfer to JSW-JFE Steel in March 2026.

What the 23 October print is likely to settle

Volume is already known. The board meeting will put numbers on realisations, raw-material costs, EBITDA, net profit and any exceptional items. Steel investors usually watch domestic flat and long realisations, coking-coal and iron-ore costs, and whether the Vijayanagar ramp-up lifts utilisation further into H2. USA–Ohio volumes were lower than the 0.24 million tonnes seen in both Q1 FY27 and Q2 FY26, so the call may also address overseas contribution.

CNBC-TV18 noted that JSW Steel shares closed 4.5% lower at ₹1,175.2 on 8 October 2026 ahead of the production update. That move is not a forecast for the results day; it only shows how sensitive the stock was to the pre-earnings production release.

Until 23 October, treat the production update as a volume cue, not a substitute for audited margins. When the results hit the exchange, cross-check standalone versus consolidated lines and any one-time items before drawing a trend call.
