A Shadowfax Technologies IPO watch today isn’t about an upcoming listing. The logistics stock is already trading, and the question now is how it absorbs early investors heading for the exit. On Monday, October 12, 2026, Qualcomm Ventures, through its affiliate Qualcomm Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, sold a little over 57.13 lakh shares of Bengaluru-based Shadowfax Technologies. That’s about a 0.98% stake, and it fetched ₹157.28 crore in an open-market deal, going by BSE bulk-deal data cited by The Hindu Business Line (PTI) and Upstox’s October 13 stocks-to-watch note.

Some background. Shadowfax listed on the NSE and BSE on January 28, 2026. Its mainboard IPO opened on January 20 and closed on January 22, 2026, with an issue price of ₹124 per share and an issue size of about ₹1,907.27 crore, according to CNBC-TV18’s IPO summary. For a framework on reading new issues and post-listing liquidity, our pillar on IPO investing in India covers it.

Shadowfax Technologies IPO watch: what Qualcomm sold in October

The deal terms, as reported from BSE bulk data and matching across PTI wire copies:

  • Seller: Qualcomm Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (Qualcomm Ventures affiliate)
  • Shares sold: a little over 57.13 lakh
  • Stake sold: 0.98% of the company
  • Average sale price: ₹275.30 per share
  • Deal value: ₹157.28 crore
  • Buyers: not named in the bulk-deal disclosures the press cited

Shadowfax closed Monday at ₹294.75 on the BSE, so the average sale price sat below that day’s close, as Indian Startup News and PTI pointed out. We wouldn’t read too much into that on its own. A bulk average below the close simply records the volume-weighted price of the block. It doesn’t prove anyone was forced to sell.

Adding up the June holding and the August sale

At the end of the June 2026 quarter, Qualcomm Asia Pacific owned 2.26% of Shadowfax, or 1,32,13,098 equity shares. That figure comes from the company’s Regulation 31 shareholding pattern as on June 30, 2026 (NSE symbol SHADOWFAX; BSE scrip 544685), and PTI reports carry the same number.

In August 2026, Qualcomm Ventures had already sold about a 1.3% stake for roughly ₹184 crore, according to The Hindu Business Line and Upstox. Indian Startup News puts that August 21 tranche at 75 lakh shares (about 1.28%) for approximately ₹183.85 crore, at an average of ₹245.13 a share. Put the August lot and the October 57.13-lakh lot together and you get close to the June count of about 1.32 crore shares. That points to a near-complete exit from the disclosed June holding. The official residual stake will only show up in the next exchange shareholding filing.

The original IPO terms, and what to track from here

CNBC-TV18’s IPO card lists a face value of ₹10, a lot size of 120 shares and a minimum investment of ₹14,880 at the ₹124 issue price, with listing on both NSE and BSE on January 28, 2026. It describes the company as engaged in postal and courier / logistics activities, with its registered office in Karnataka. In plain terms, Shadowfax does third-party logistics for e-commerce, quick-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands. Abhishek Bansal and Vaibhav Khandelwal founded it in 2015, per Indian Startup News.

Monday’s ₹294.75 close was more than twice the ₹124 issue price, Indian Startup News noted. That tells you how far the stock has travelled since listing. It doesn’t tell you what any one investor made, because lock-ins, allotment prices and holding periods all differ. For how promoter, pre-IPO and anchor lock-ins work after a listing, see our explainer on the IPO lock-in period.

After a bulk sale by an early backer, these are the things we’d watch:

  • Supply overhang: more selling by other pre-IPO holders can keep free-float supply high.
  • Price versus bulk averages: compare later closes with the disclosed block prices instead of judging off one print.
  • Shareholding updates: the next Regulation 31 filing will confirm who still holds what after October 12.
  • Operating trajectory: volumes, margins and guidance in exchange filings matter more than sale headlines.

To be clear, none of the sources above mention a new IPO price band, grey-market premium or fresh issue calendar for Shadowfax. The company is already listed. So read “IPO watch” here as post-listing tracking of liquidity and ownership changes, not as a pitch for a coming offer. For live market context, head to our Stock Market Today India hub.
