The Federal Bank Q2 results date is Friday, October 16, 2026. The bank told NSE and BSE in an October 6 Regulation 29 intimation that The Federal Bank Limited’s board meets that day to consider and approve unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026. ET Markets counts about 129 companies printing Q2 FY27 numbers this week, and puts Federal Bank among the notable Friday names along with LTIMindtree, Bajaj Housing Finance, Crompton Greaves and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank.

For the day-by-day picture this earnings week, see our stock market today India hub.

Federal Bank Q2 results date and when the call happens

The investor and analyst call is the same Friday at 3:30 pm IST, where management will walk through the Q2 FY27 results and business updates. That comes from the bank’s October 8 Regulation 30 filing, which lists dial-in numbers and a Diamond Pass link. What it doesn’t give is a clock time for the results PDF itself, so watch the exchange feed.

For designated persons, their immediate relatives and connected persons, the trading window is shut from October 1, 2026 to October 18, 2026, both days included, as the October 6 board intimation confirmed. That’s tighter than the earlier September 29 trading-window notice, which only said the window would stay closed until 48 hours after results are declared.

The Q1 FY27 numbers Friday gets measured against

Whatever comes out on October 16 will be set against the bank’s Q1 FY27 press release for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Here’s what that exchange filing showed:

  • Net profit: ₹1,176.93 crore, up 36.57% year-on-year, which the bank called a record quarterly profit on an underlying basis.
  • Net interest income: ₹2,945.89 crore, 26.06% higher than a year earlier.
  • NIM: 3.33%, an improvement of 39 basis points year-on-year.
  • Gross advances: ₹2,81,239.54 crore, up 14.94%; total deposits were ₹3,20,117.66 crore, up 11.37%.
  • Net NPA: 0.18%, a decadal low; gross NPA stood at 1.52% and provision coverage (excluding technical write-offs) at 87.37%.
  • CASA ratio: 32.23%, up 188 basis points year-on-year, with CASA balances growing 18.26%.

Three things matter for Q2. Can NIM hold after that Q1 jump? Can advances keep running ahead of deposits without squeezing CASA? And do credit costs stay close to the 0.41% Q1 run-rate? ET Markets has HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Yes Bank reporting a day later, on Saturday, October 17, so Federal Bank’s Friday print gives an early mid-cap, private-bank read before that cluster lands. Our Yes Bank Q2 results date note covers the Saturday slate.

Once the PDF is out, run it through our guide on how to analyse quarterly results of a company. We’d look at NII, NIM, GNPA/NNPA, credit cost and the CASA mix first, and only then at how the stock reacts.
